Craft*folK's Cardiff Christmas
Market is set in the heart of the pedestrian area of Cardiff City Centre
St John Street, Working Street, the Hayes, Hills Street and Trinity Street.
Come and join us at our Christmas Market
this year, where a real passion for tradition sometimes comes with a modern
New area for 2015
We are expanding the Christmas Market into
Hills Street, another busy pedestrian area in the heart of the
City Centre, representing just the first phase of the expansion of the
market which we hope will ultimately become the main destination for
original gifts, complimenting the already exceptional Christmas shopping
experience in our capital city.
With over 190
exhibitors joining us over 42 days, visitors to the market will be
certain to find original and unusual gifts made by our talented makers;
bespoke silver jewellery, wooden turned gifts, original artwork across
all mediums, handmade quilts and textiles, traditional pewter gifts and
slate products to name just a few combined with a variety of seasonal
food and drink to create a vibrant Christmas atmosphere.
When shopping at the Cardiff Christmas
Market you are viewing the products from a wide selection of local,
predominantly Welsh, small businesses. Over 90% of our exhibitors are
true crafts people, with 10% attributed to trade
stalls. Trade stalls are only available at our Christmas Market
but, if accepted, the products must fit in with the ethos of the event.
As an alternative
outdoor shopping experience, you can commission personalised gifts,
sample the food and drink on offer or just enjoy a glass of mulled wine
to keep you warm whilst browsing. Choose from a selection of whisky,
wines, fruit and cream liqueurs, cheese, hot welsh cakes, roasted nuts, chocolate
brownies and delicious hand-made chocolates.
